CORRECTIVE BODYWORK

Precision Release

Precision Release is an integrative, fascia-focused manual approach developed through years of clinical experience and informed by extensive training across movement science, somatic education, and hands-on bodywork. This work combines precise, targeted contact with refined listening and adaptability, allowing sessions to respond moment by moment to what each body presents.

Drawing from a broad foundation—including but not limited to Active Release Technique®, Myofascial Release, and the Feldenkrais® Method—Precision Release supports improved mobility, reduced strain, and more efficient, coordinated movement without relying on a single technique or formula.

Active Release Technique® (ART®)

Active Release Technique® (ART®) is a specialized, movement-based approach to soft tissue treatment that combines precise manual contact with active and passive movement. It is designed to address restrictions in muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves, and is more targeted and specific than traditional myofascial release.

ART is commonly used for conditions related to repetitive overuse, strain, and injury, including those associated with sports, computer work, service work, and physical labor. Sessions are often shorter and more focused, and are frequently offered as part of a brief series to support change and recovery.

Myofascial Release (MFR)

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands-on, fascia-focused approach that supports improved mobility, comfort, and overall tissue health. It is performed without lubricants and uses sustained, gentle pressure to engage restrictions within the connective tissue, allowing the body to reorganize and release patterns of tension over time.

Rather than treating isolated symptoms, myofascial release addresses the interconnected nature of the body, supporting both localized relief and broader changes in movement and posture. This work can be especially helpful for chronic tension, pain, and movement limitations related to stress, injury, or overuse.

Treatment frequency varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some people benefit from a short series of sessions, while others integrate myofascial release into ongoing care as part of a broader therapeutic approach.
